Love this card

Christmas has come and gone. I've managed to make and send, or hand deliver 75+ cards. The one card that I made for both of my children is the one I love the most. I did not design this card as far as the cutting file it was designed by Shelly Watson and it is beautiful. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it (click on the picture for a larger view).

Pastor Appreciation Cards

These were for Pastor Appreciation Sunday. We have three pastors and they are all very special to us. It's nice to have a day set aside just for them. If you want to see more of my work, scroll through the archives here.

Good Grief

Has it really been this long. I get so tied up in life that I forget some of these places (and my head if it weren't attached). Worked on a few cards, but nothing major. I'll try to post a few of them if I get them resized. Life is good! God is great and He is worth everything.

Hope you all like it.

Anniversary Card

Made a couple cards this year. Here's one of them. This one just won a challenge, I'm so shocked and pleased at the same time.

Another Anniversary Card

Here's the other. Let me know what you think.

Made this one for Father's Day. Dad is an avid crossword puzzle lover. He also happens to love golf. Found this picture in one of my (old) books and knew I had to use it to make his card. He also sits there with his reading glasses on (I designed them and then cut them out on my Klic-N-Kut die cut machine). (click on the picture to view it with more detail)
This was made using my new Mint Motif Very Square and Very Square Sentiments (great set of stamps). The color is off some, it's brighter than what it looks like here. Will have to work on my lighting.

My how time does fly!

Wow, where has the time gone. Seems I haven't posted in days.

Well here's what I've been up to today. This is for an open house on Sunday. Young man from church who just graduated.

Hurrah for Hero Arts

Hero Arts has done it again. Some new releases that are going to prove they are ahead of the pack.

Thursday, May 20, 2010

Here's a card I made with the new Mint Motif stamps. They sure are of nice quality and I had fun working with them.

More new stamps, yeah!

My new Unity Stamps came and I'm loving them. In this picture I've used them mostly as back-drop for the Penny Black stamp. I can see lots of possibilities for these. If you haven't ordered your's, do so quickly before they are all sold out.

A Day of Rest

Yes that's what today means to me. Wonderful service this morning at church. Fellowship meal following, love when we do this. Ate well, enjoyed some great conversation with friends, and then came home to veg. That's all I want to do just kick back and relax today. Will be off and running first thing in the morning and so another week will begin. Hope everyone who happens to find me and stops by will take five minutes and just breath a sigh of relief. Enjoy your day!

This one was fun. Layered four different backgrounds to form this then added a Hero Arts and Penny Black image.

Mother's Day card using mainly my Klic-N-Kut die cutting machine. I used strips of paper and weaved them together to make the heart. Then added the brads to give it some interest.

This was done for a challenge. For the card, only one of the acorn pieces would have been used. This shows how to make a pop-up card.

This was one for my daughter's anniversary. Mostly done with parts I made with my K-n-K.

This card is one for a friend's birthday. I'll also post the inside so you can see the pop-up candle which is here.

This is a sign I cut for our church's VBS program last summer. It turned out great, don't you think?

This is an anniversary card I made for my daughter. Again the Klic-N-Kut was used to cut the file.
This is one of the cards I've done using my Klic-N-Kut die cut machine. It makes things like this so easy. This is my grandson's card for his 18th birthday.

Welcome

This is a first for me so I doubt I'll be all that proficient at it. I am going to attempt to share some of my work with you. I love making cards and everything that's involved with them. Fingers crossed, here we go.
